# Avoiding Scams

#### Avoiding Scams: Stay Safe While Trading Crypto with ARCHER

Scams are unfortunately common in the crypto world, but most can be avoided by following a few simple rules:

***

**The #1 Rule:**

**Never share your Private Key or Seed Phrase with anyone.**\
If someone asks for it, they are trying to steal your funds. Don’t give it to them—ever.

***

**Impersonators**

Scammers often pretend to be official ARCHER staff or support accounts. Here’s how to protect yourself:

* Always access ARCHER through official links only. Use this official link: <https://t.me/ArcherTradeBot> (change later).
* Beware of fake bots that might ask you to deposit SOL—they are NOT legitimate.
* Scammers often DM first. ARCHER admins **will never DM you first**, nor will they ask for your Private Key or Seed Phrase.

***

**Official Bots vs. Fake Bots**

The authentic ARCHER bot is listed clearly. Always double-check usernames carefully—using an imposter bot could lead to scams.

**Warning: Any bot not listed officially is FAKE!**

***

**Unauthorized Account Access**

If scammers access your accounts, they can steal your funds. ARCHER’s security features, like 2FA, helps keep you safe.

Still, make sure to NEVER allow unauthorized access to your Telegram or any other accounts. Only verify through official ARCHER channels.

***

Stay alert, keep your keys private, and always trade safely with ARCHER!
